Things simply do not appear in that list. How are you connected while attempting the download? If it is wifi, then you might get better results with a hardline connection.

I really don’t believe it’s a connection issue though. The issue is the moment I leave the Download Details screen, the download stops. That is an issue with Xbox Live not working properly as my connection doesn’t go from working to not working every time I try and download something and leave 1 screen.

Hopefully someone can come help you better though. I always keep the download screen up, I also lose my downloads when I leave the active downloads screen, however if you go to download history or just redownload from marketplace, it should resume where it left off. I don’t know if its an xbox live issue or if its just how it works. Hey man, you just need to turn on your background downloads. That should solve your problems.

Go into your settings and see if it is turned on or not. I have now got them to download. I got it to work by going into my download history and adding them to the download queue from there.

When download content is available in game to download, a person shouldn’t have to go back to the dashboard to actually do the downloads. I run into this problem all the time. It happens when you try to download any content in-game. I’ve had it happen in Forza 4, Borderlands 2, Mass Effect 3, you name it. Whiiiiitey has the only workaround that seems to allow you to queue, starting the downloads in-game, allowing them to fail and then queueing them from your download history.

It also does not notify you that this has happened, inevitably leading to confusion when the latest DLC or add-on pack that you thought was downloaded is nowhere to be found in game. This is especially annoying for people who purchase a season pass after all season content has been released for a game, as season passes require purchases to be made in game, requiring you to wait on the download screen lest your content be banished.

It sucks that after nearly 5 months this issue hasn’t been resolved. I’m a loyal xbox gamer but I do hate it when this happens, especially on games with season passes, like DJDankNugz stated, his response has been the most accurate on how to deal with this problem but it’s not a fix it’s more of a workaround.

Apparently Microsoft marketplace needs to work out the disconnect between purchasing a season pass and the DLC that comes with and the DLC that should be free that we are charged for.

If you’re into the game and you put your season pass code in and see the DLC on the dashboard or on in the market and know that you are entitled that DLC, you shouldn’t be charged. Come on if you’re about the gamers and satisfying your paying customers, would you please fix this major problem that you turn a blind eye to?

Ask a new question. If I tell something to download and stay on the ‘Download Details’ screen, it’s fine to download albeit very slow , but if I leave that even for a second it stops downloading, and is nowhere to be found. So not only does it mean if I want to download something that I’m unable to use my Xbox for anything else, it also means I can’t queue downloads which I’d really like to be able to do, especially as I have all 3 DLC’s to download and I’m going out later today, so it would be very handy to have them queued to download while I’m out.

I’ve done things like deleting partial downloads, and clearing my cache, all that sort of thing, doesn’t make a difference. Things simply do not appear in that list. How are you connected while attempting the download? If it is wifi, then you might get better results with a hardline connection.

If it is wifi, then you might get better results with a hardline connection. It sounds to me like the downloads are not completing due to a connection issue. Was this reply helpful? That is an issue with Xbox Live not working properly as my connection doesn’t go from working to not working every time I try and download something and leave 1 screen.
