When I try to do a system restore, I get through Control Panel, choose backup and restore, and there is no backup, or option to do a system restore at that point. I don’t seem to be able to specify an earlier point in time to restore it to. I identified it as a potential operation to try, but don’t seem to be able to execute the process.

Saw this on a Youtube video, but the system restore does not start automatically for me, as it did for the guy in the Youtube video. If I restore it to an earlier point in time, won’t it just update again automatically and then I’ll be at the same point again as before the system restore?
