Windows media player 11 free download no validation

Ask a new question. I’m trying to download Windows Media Player 11 however when I try to go through the validation process it just wont work. When i try to hit ‘continue’ the page simply refreshes and nothing else happens. Im not getting any messages saying that the software is not genuine, literally the page refreshes and nothing else happens.

The Windows XP system I’m using is genuine. I cant seem to do anything else now or get the download! What is going wrong? If you’re using Firefox as browser, it barfs on the ActiveX required for validation – use either IE or Chrome instead.
